VDS is a NE & Eastern based studio for sustainable INTERIOR, EXTERIOR DESIGN AND LANDSCAPING, established in 2005, since then, we and our team have established a reputation with skilled practiced, with offers across the eastern India, we work as a single studio that is both ethnically & culturally diverse.
Our Approach
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we undertake. We audit all projects against global standards, while developing bespoke strategies that drive our environmental agenda. To build sustainability requires us to design holistically, and our unique integrated design approach enables us to develop innovative strategies that have a firm focus on the future of the environment.
From within the practice, structural and environmental engineers, together with many other specialist design teams, work alongside the architects to develop fully integrated design solutions. Every project starts with fresh thinking, leading to a solution that is tailor-made to both site and user. Design is typically undertaken by a small, close-knit team; the team that starts a project sees it through to completion, thus providing continuity throughout. We always consider the built environment as a totality and to apply a truly integrated approach to responsible design.

From the first heap of a drawing to the last, i would be very passionate to draw such heap which repeals in itself. For me designing is a set that gives a feel of column, the touch of the woods, the splash of the walls and the rays of the ceilings. Everything is a thought of how you think,how you create and how you deliver.

When people asked me - “Why architecture?”, I usually did not have an answer to that. Perhaps, it naturally occurred to me, while I was growing up as a teenager, when I realised that the scope of art is beyond the frames of canvas. But it is also through the play of “light” and “spaces”. However, that sparkle of inspiration was long lost during the course of my architectural education; until recently, when I asked the same question, to myself. This time, I had the answer, but oblivious to where I stand. No doubt, most of the “Gen-Zs” are caught up with this “rat - race”, but what makes the fewer stand out, is their hunger to learn, learn and apply!
